This course is for anyone curious about somatic movement, body awareness, or nervous system regulation – whether you come from yoga, meditation, therapy, or no movement practice at all. Your body already knows how to move. This course simply invites you to listen.

Somatic dance is one of the most powerful – and underused – tools for nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep body awareness. And you don’t need any dance experience to begin.
This course combines contemporary dance, guided improvisation, and neurosomatic exercises rooted in somatic movement practice and movement meditation. Each session is designed to help you get out of your head and back into your body.

Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you’re curious about somatic healing, body-based practices, or mindful movement – even if you’ve never danced before. It’s also for yoga practitioners, meditators, therapists, and dancers who want to deepen their embodied awareness.
Who is this NOT for?
This is not a technique-based dance course. There are no choreographies to memorize, no right or wrong movements. If you’re looking for structured dance training, this course is not the right fit.
Your instructor
Fanny Coindet is a French choreographer, dancer, and movement educator with over 20 years of experience in contemporary dance.
She has worked as Associate Director on Jean-Paul Gaultier’s Fashion Freak Show, held a leading role in Franco Dragone’s The House of Dancing Water in Macao, and trained with Ohad Naharin, Akram Khan, and David Zambrano.
Holder of the State Diploma in Contemporary Dance Teaching (CND Pantin), she has taught in conservatories and professional training programs across France and internationally.
Through Mindful Project, she now brings somatic movement online – guiding students to reconnect with their body, regulate their nervous system, and move from within.
