I’ve spent over25 years working in the oil and gas industry across more than 50 countries, from the North Sea to the Sahara, from land rigs in Eastern Europe to offshore Australia. I’ve worked as a service hand, HSE adviser, manager and consultant. I’ve written procedures, investigated incidents and stood on the rig floor when those procedures genuinely made the difference between a safe shift and a serious accident.
